Term of office and conditions of services of the non-official members.- (1) Subject to the pleasure of the Government, the nominated non-official members shall hold office for a period not exceeding three years. However, the non-official members may be reappointed for a further period of three years. (2) A non-official member may resign his office by writing in person addressed to the Government but shall continue in office until his resignation is accepted. (3) A non-official member shall receive such allowances as may be provided in regulations.
