Accounts and Audit.- (1) The Authority shall maintain proper accounts and other records and prepare an annual statement of accounts in such form and in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) The accounts of the Authority shall be audited by the State Accounts Department or such auditor appointed by the Government. (3) The said auditor shall have the right to demand production of books, accounts, connected vouchers and other documents and papers and to inspect any offices of the Authority. (4) The Authority shall send a copy of the report of the auditor together with an audited copy to the Government within nine months from the end of each financial year. (5) The Government shall, as soon as may be after the receipt of the audit report under sub- section (4) cause the same to be laid before both the Houses of the State Legislature.
