Penalties

Penalties.- Any person, who contravenes the provisions of: - (1) clause (1) of section 3 or of section 4 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees and in case of second or subsequent offence, shall be punishable with a minimum fine of two hundred rupees, but which may extend to five hundred rupees; (2) clauses (2),(3),(4) of section 3 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees and in case of second or subsequent offence, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, and with a minimum fine of five hundred rupees, but which may extend to one thousand rupees.
