Power of the Oil Palm Commissioner .- (1) The Oil Palm Commissioner shall exercise the following powers, namely:- (i) to co-ordinate the activities of the oil palm growers and industries/ entrepreneurs engaged in the production and processing of Palm Oil; 7 (ii) to act as a nodal officer/ monitoring officer for development of Oil Palm in the State; (iii) to monitor the progress achieved by each of the entrepreneurs in the development of oil palm and make suitable recommendations to Project Management Committee for decisions. (iv) to exercise such other powers as may be prescribed.
