Power to execute contracts on behalf of municipal council.—In any 1[municipal area]1 for which a Municipal Commissioner has been appointed, notwithstanding anything contained in section 72, the following provisions, with respect to the making of contracts under or for any purposes of this Act shall have effect, namely:—
