Penalty for contravention of section 8 of the Act.- Any person who contravenes of section 8 of this Act, shall be tried and punishable by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to ten years and with fine which may extend to rupees five lakh. The offences under this Act are cognizable and non-bailable.
