Leasing of fishery rights.- (1) The authorised officer or any other officer empowered by the State Government in that behalf, shall lease the fishery rights in any water in the manner prescribed. (2) Every person who obtains the lease of fishery rights under sub-section (1), shall execute a lease in the form prescribed and within the prescribed period. (3) Every person aggrieved by the order under sub-section (1), may prefer an appeal to the Appellate Authority within fifteen days from the date of communication of such order to him.
