Eva Nammava Vedike.- (1) In each district, the District Magistrate shall constitute an "Eva Nammava Vedike." (2) The Eva Nammava vedike shall consist of retired judge, police officer, revenue officer, sub-registrar and such other members as may be prescribed. (3) The Eva Nammava Vedike shall facilitate solemnisation of marriage, provide counseling services and perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
