Members and staff of the Authority to be public servants.-The Members and the staff of the Authority shall, while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act 45 of 1860).
