Resignation and removal, – (1) The Grievance Redressal Authority may by notice in writing under his hand addressed to the Government resign his office. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Government may, by order, remove the Grievance Redressal Authority from the office of the Grievance Redressal Authority , if he,- (a) is adjudged as an insolvent; or (b) has been convicted of an offence which, in the opinion of the Government, involves moral turpitude; or (c) engages during his term of office in any paid employment outside the duties of his office; or (d) is, in the opinion of the government, unfit to continue in office by reason of infirmity of mind or body; or 150 (e) has acquired such financial or other interest as is likely to affect prejudicially his functions as the Grievance Redressal Authority.
