Numbering of Buildings.-(1) The Zonal Commissioner shall cause a number to be affixed to the side or outer door of any building or to some place at the entrance of the premises. (2) No person shall, without lawful authority, destroy, pull down or deface any such number. (3) Where a number has been affixed under (1), the owner of the building shall be bound to maintain such number and to replace it if removed or defaced and if he fails to do so, the Zonal Commissioner may by notice require him to replace it.
