(1) The non-official Directors shall hold office of the Authority for a period of two years from the date of their appointment and they shall be eligible for re-appointment. Term of office. (2) If the Government considers that the continuance in office of any non- official Director is not in the interest of the Authority, the Government may make an order as terminating his term and thereupon, he shall cease to be a member of the Authority not withstanding the fact that the term to which he was nominated has not expired. (3) Any non-official Director of the Authority may resign his office by a letter addressed to the Chairman and the resignation shall take effect from the date of acceptance of his resignation by the Chairman.
