Fine for putting building to any use other than that for which a license has been granted. - When any premises is used or is permitted to be used by any person for any purpose other than that for which a license has been granted under sub-section (1) of section 455 or as a stable or cattle-shed or cow-house, then such person shall, without prejudice to any other penalty to which he may be subject, be liable to a fine which may extend, in the case of a masonry building to five thousand rupees and, in the case of a hut to five hundred rupees, and, in the case of continuance of such use, to a further fine which may extend, in the case of a masonry building, to five hundred rupees and, in the case of a hut, to one hundred rupees for each day during which such use continues after the first day.
