Registration of births and deaths. Subject to the provisions of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, the municipality shall cause registration of births and deaths taking place within the municipal area and extracts of information therefrom shall be supplied, on application, in such form of a certificate and on payment of such fees, as may be determined by regulations.
