Closing of Markets: Subject to such directions as the municipality may give in this behalf, the Municipal Commissioner or the Executive Officer or any other agency, as the case may be, may, after giving a notice, close any municipal market or slaughterhouse or stockyard or any portion thereof on and from the date specified in the notice, and the premises occupied for any municipal market, slaughterhouse or stockyard or any portion thereof so closed may be disposed of as the property of the municipality.
