Determination after dissolution that property be utilized by Government.-(1) It shall be lawful for the members of any Society dissolved under section 44 to determine by majority of votes of the members present or by proxy at the time of dissolution of such Society that any property whatsoever remaining after satisfaction of all its debts and liabilities shall be given to Government to be utilized for any of the purposes referred to in sub- section (3) of section 1. (2) In the event of cancellation of the registration of Society under section 44, all the moveable and immovable assets of the Society or its institutions or centres shall vest in the State Government to the extent of assistance, grant, aid or donation that the Society may have received from Central or State Government or any of the statutory bodies, and it shall be the duty of the Collector of the District where the property is situated to take charge of the same on intimation of cancellation by the Registrar.
