Penalty for letting infected houses.- Every person knowingly letting a house or other building or part of a house or building in which any person has been suffering from an infectious disease, without, having such house or other building or part thereof and all articles therein liable to retain infection disinfected to the satisfaction of the municipality, shall be liable to a penalty which shall not be less than twenty five rupees and more than two hundred rupees. Explanation.- For the purpose of this section, a hotel or lodging house-keeper shall be deemed to let part of his house to any person admitted as a guest into his hotel or lodging house.
