Recovery of cost of assessing assigned land revenue.-(1) When land of which the land revenue has been assigned in whole or in part is reassessed the assignee shall be liable to pay such a share of the cost of making the reassessment as the Financial Commissioner may determine to be just. (2) That share may be recovered by the Collector by deduction of the amount thereof from the land-revenue due to the assignee.
