(1) The Council shall constitute an Executive Committee from amongst its members for performing such functions in the manner, as may be specified by regulations. (2) The Executive Committee shall consist of the following members, namely:- (i) the President of the Council shall be the Chairman; (ii) the Vice-President of the Council shall be the Vice-Chairman; (iii) the Registrar of the Council shall be the Member-Secretary; (iv) one nominated member of the Haryana State Medical Council; (v) one member each from sub-clauses (iii), (iv) and (v) of section 4, to be nominated by the President of the Council. (3) A member of the Executive Committee shall hold office until the expiry of his term of office as a member of the Council and he shall be eligible for re-nomination. (4) The Executive Committee shall exercise and discharge such powers and duties of the Council, as may be conferred upon it by regulations. Equivalence and Registration Committee.
