The quorum for the transaction of business at a meeting of the Council shall be one-third of the total number of the members including the President: Provided that if within half an hour from the time fixed for the meeting, quorum is not complete, the President or Vice-President or the presiding member, as the case may be, shall adjourn the meeting to such hour on some future day, as it may notify on the notice board and website of the Council. The business which may have been brought before the original meeting shall be brought before the adjourned meeting and shall be disposed of in such meeting or any subsequent adjournment thereof, whether quorum is complete or not.
