The Corporation Sports Council, Municipal Sports Council, Town Sports Council and Block Sports Council shall perform the following functions, namely:- (a) co-ordinate the activities of the registered sports organizations and sports clubs within their jurisdiction; (b) organize sports events or competitions or tournaments within their area of jurisdiction; and (c) perform such other functions, as may be entrusted to it by the District Sports Council.
