(1) Each Faculty shall consist of - (i) Dean of the Faculty (Chairperson); (ii) Chairperson of the Boards of Studies included in that Faculty; (iii) one Senior Professor from each Department on the basis of seniority by rotation; (iv) one Professor, one Associate professor and one Assistant professor or equivalent from each Department included in the Faculty by rotation according to seniority: Provided that wherever considered necessary, the Vice-Chancellor may on the recommendation of the Dean increase the number of members. (2) Members nominated shall hold office for two years: Provided that the Executive Council, at the request of the Academic Council, may increase the number of members of a Faculty. (3) The Registrar will be the Secretary of every Faculty. (4) Two-fifths of the members in each Faculty shall form the quorum. Deans of Faculties.
