The uniform of Deputy Superintendent and Superintendent Jail shall be as under :- Article Pattern/Color Winter Serge khaki trouser and angola khaki shirt (with or without jersey) full sleeves stitched on police pattern, brown leather brass clasp with letters H.J. belt, khaki woolen socks, brown derby shoes (with toe cap), blue lanyard with brass whistle and medal ribbons, plastic name plate (Bilingual – Hindi and English) in white letters on black background. Police pattern/Khaki Head dress and gorget patches Superintendents and Deputy Superintendents who are entitled to wear the State emblem with or without stars shall wear peak cap and gorget patches as per their counterpart of Police department with H.J. badges of silver metal on cap. The sikh male officer shall wear khaki turban in place of peak cap. As an alternative to the peak cap, officers may wear Beret cap of navy blue colour with the badge appropriate to their rank. NOTE: - The lady officers shall wear the uniform and its articles as specified for male officers. Articles of uniform for non- gazetted officers.
