The following records shall be kept for two years, namely: - (a) Certificate of Admission of prisoners into prison (b) Casual leave register of staff (c) Nominal Rolls of convicts (d) History Tickets of convicts unconditionally released or dead (e) Indents for prison and hospital clothing (f) Medical Officer’s Certificate of fitness to undergo solitary confinement (g) Reports of delivery of charge of office of Superintendent (h) Statement of monthly progressive expenditure and correspondence relating to discrepancy in figures (i) Register of subordinates due for retirement within one year (j) Other papers not mentioned in these rules Special rules for disposal/ Destruction of record.
