The employment of convicts in small group or batches on petty works situated outside the prison walls, is prohibited: Provided that this prohibition shall not be deemed to extend to the employment of prisoners on prison works, in the prison farm, or on duties connected with the management of premises occupied by officers of the prison, subject to such directions as the Director General may from time to time give in that behalf. 1402 HARYANA GOVT.
