Following categories of prisoners shall not be eligible for prison work, namely: – (a) prisoners above the age of seventy years, if not found suitable for work by the Medical Officer; (b) found unfit by the Medical Officer or by the ‘Classification and Security Monitoring Committee’; (c) terrorists, extremists, fundamentalists and fanatics who shall have bad influence on other prisoners; and (d) sick and infirm prisoners and those undergoing prison punishments.
