(1) At least six watch towers shall be constructed in every Central and District Prisons. Provided that the distance between two watch towers shall not be greater than hundred meters. (2) Watch towers shall be in circular with minimum radius of eight feet. (3) As far as feasible, watch tower shall have circular cemented staircase. (4) As far as feasible, the distance between outer wall and centre of watch tower shall be thirteen feet. (5) Toilet and washbasin shall be provided in each watch tower. (6) Mesh grill shall be installed in every watch tower. Capacity of wards and cells. 826.
