(1) All officers of a prison shall obey the directions of the Superintendent; all officers subordinate to the Deputy Superintendent shall perform such duties as may be imposed on them by the Deputy Superintendent with the sanction of the Superintendent. (2) Every subordinate shall extend prompt and strict obedience to all legal orders of the superior officers and shall treat all superior officers with respect at all times. (3) In case of shortage of staff in any particular post like driving, plumbing, electrical, computer operating etc., the services of qualified warders or other staff may be utilized. Staff members not to be interested in prison contracts.
