It shall be the duty of the Deputy Superintendent (Administration) to – (a) cause all lawful warrants and orders of commitment to be duly obeyed and carried into effect; (b) give effect to all remissions of sentences lawfully earned or granted, and from time to time, to review and cause to enter the correct date of release in the register of releases; (c) take all measures necessary or expedient in order that no prisoner is released before he is legally entitled to be released.
