(1) The Superintendent shall hold a weekly parade of all prisoners for the time being confined in the prison for the purposes of muster and inspection. (2) At each parade held under the sub-rule(1), the Superintendent shall satisfy himself that, - (a) every prisoner is properly classified as provided in the rules; (b) every prisoner is provided with proper clothing and bedding as provided in the rules; (c) every prisoner is clean both in-person and clothing; (d) the provisions of the remission and parole rules are understood by the prisoners; (e) the rules and orders applicable to prisoners are being followed properly; (f) all chronically or seriously ill prisoners are receiving proper treatment. (3) The Superintendent shall, at every such parade, hear every request or complaint (if any) which any prisoner may desire to make and shall, in due course, inquire into and pass orders thereupon. NOTE1.- The Senior Medical Officer/Medical Officer, all Deputy Superintendents, and subordinate staff concerned shall accompany the Superintendent. NOTE 2.- On such parades, every prisoner shall neatly arrange his bedding, spare clothing, cup, and plates in the courtyard of his barrack and shall stand at attention in line. 1344 HARYANA GOVT.
