(1) The District Probation Officer shall interview the prisoner during his admission- quarantine period and plan the nature of assistance for the prisoner and his family. Thereafter, he shall meet the prisoner at least once a fortnight through his stay in the institution and monitor the relationship and assistance being rendered. (2) The District Probation Officer shall extend all possible help in maintaining the prisoner's continued relationship with his family, employer and community.
