(1) The Superintendent shall convene monthly meeting of all staff members posted in the institution. The objectives of the staff meeting shall be as follows, namely:– (a) coordination in institutional activities; (b) to improve methods of work; (c) to explain governmental policies to staff members; (d) to explain new procedures, rules, regulations and policies regarding prisoner discipline, treatment of prisoners and institutional management; (e) to explain policies relating to personnel management, staff discipline and morale in the staff lines; (f) to explain welfare programs; (g) to give opportunities to staff members to discuss their common problems; (h) to communicate appreciation of good work as and when necessary. (i) to reward staff members as and when necessary. (2) Minutes of the proceedings of the meeting shall be recorded and a copy of the same shall be forwarded to the Director General with the remarks of the Superintendent. Facilities while on duty.
