(1) No prisoner shall at any time receive or possess, or be permitted to receive, consume or possess, any article of food or drink not prescribed or supplied to him in the manner provided hereinafter in these rules. He may, however, purchase articles from the prison canteen as per applicable rules and instructions. (2) No cooked food or any food article from outside the prison shall be permitted to any prisoner.
