(1) The Superintendent shall, on the 10th of January and 10th of July every year, forward a report of prisoners suffering from mental illness to the Director General. NOTE.- When no such prisoner is confined in the prison, a nil report shall be submitted. (2) The Medical Officer of a prison shall send a quarterly report to the Mental Health Review Board regarding the status of prisoners with mental illness, as prescribed under the provisions of Mental Healthcare Act, 2017(Central Act 17 of 2017) and the rules framed thereunder.
