(1) The Superintendent shall in any case in which superintendent’s representations have not been attended to by the concerned court, refer the matter to the concerned District and Sessions Judge under intimation to the Director General. (2) In case a reference made under sub-rule (1) is pending, the prisoner shall be detained in such manner and with such restrictions or limitations, as may be specified in the warrant or order.
