(1) Female prisoners shall be required to keep themselves clean, and to this end, they shall be provided with sanitary napkins, towels, and toiletries necessary for maintaining hygiene. Sufficient water shall also be made available for the use of female prisoners and their children, and those prisoners, in particular, who are involved in cooking and those who are pregnant, breastfeeding or menstruating.
