(1) When the prison medical officer recommends that in the interest of the health of an undertrial prisoner, he shall be transferred to a suitable government medical facility outside the prison, the Superintendent may send him to such institute under police escort (2) A permanent police escort for the purpose shall be deputed at the prison by the district police.
