(1) The high security enclosure shall be equipped with all modern security equipment to maintain close surveillance and ensure the safety and security of the prison and the prisoners. (2) A suitable communication system shall be provided to the guarding personnel deployed at high security enclosure to enable them to maintain effective communication with the control room and amongst themselves at all times. (3) For security reasons, wherever necessary, security cameras with audio and video recording facilities shall be installed. (4) Sufficient, dedicated video conferencing systems shall be set up within the high security enclosure having linkage with the courts to enable the production of high-risk prisoners and their trial, through electronic means. (5) On every morning at the time of the lockout, the Assistant Superintendent concerned shall ensure that the security gadgets and the communication devices installed in the high security enclosure are in working condition. If any gadget is in non-working condition, he shall inform the Deputy Superintendent (Security) and necessary steps shall be taken to rectify the fault without any delay.
