Other miscellaneous provisions governing interviews shall be as follows, - (a) Interviews of prisoners for purpose of documentaries, research, newspaper articles, and other such matters shall be governed by the guidelines issued from time to time by the Government or the Director General; (b) Prisoners lodged in the same prison, who are family members or are co-accused and separated on grounds of gender or for any other reason, may be allowed interview at a designated place preferably near the main gate, once a week, in the presence of a prison officer; (c) Prisoners who are family members and are lodged in different prisons may be allowed interview through electronic means once a month in the presence of a staff member as specified by the Director General. Such interviews may be in addition to the other authorized interviews.; (d) Prisoners shall not be allowed to correspond with prisoners in other prisons. If, however, a prisoner has got his relatives in another prison, he may be permitted to write to them, subject to the provisions of these rules; (e) No person visiting the prison shall be allowed to carry or use any photographic or video graphic equipment inside the prison premises without the permission of the Government or Director General or Superintendent. 1266 HARYANA GOVT.
