(1) When doubt is raised about the authenticity of a release order received, immediately a clarification shall be sought from the issuing authority through approved means of communication or telephonically, and pending such clarification, the prisoner shall be detained. (2) After authentication, the prisoner shall be released immediately, and a note shall be recorded and signed in the relevant register by the Assistant Superintendent concerned and countersigned by Deputy Superintendent (Administration). (3) When the legality of any order is in doubt, an appeal shall be filed with the superior court seeking directions. 1252 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ.
