Chief Probation and Welfare Officer shall be responsible for the implementation of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 and other relevant Acts and rules, including after care and rehabilitation of prisoners through District Probation Officers in all prisons across the State. He shall also be responsible for welfare activities of prisoners, educational programs, vocational training and skill development, etc. in all prisons across the State. The role and responsibilities, powers, and duties of the Chief Probation and Welfare Officer shall be such as decided by the Director General, from time to time. 1208 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ.
