(1) The State Government shall appoint an officer not below the rank or equivalent to the rank of Secretary to Government, Haryana as the Chief Executive Officer. (2) The Chief Executive Officer shall receive such salary and allowances alongwith such other facilities, as may be, determined by the State Government, from time to time, out of the Fund of the Authority. (3) Whenever the Chief Executive Officer is on leave or is unable to discharge his duties for whatsoever reason, the State Government may authorise any other officer to perform the duties and functions of the Chief Executive Officer till the Chief Executive Officer join his duties.
