( I ) - The comrni ttee may cause a name or number to be given to any street, chowk, locality or building and to be affixed on any chowk locality or building in such place as it may think fit. (2) Whoever shalI dcstory, pull down or deface any name or number affied to any street, chowk, locality or building under this section, or pur up any differenl name or number from rhal put up by order or the committee, shall be punishable with a fine which shall not be less than twcn ty-five rupees and more then two hundred rupees.
