(1) Each College shall comprise such Departments, as may be prescribed. (2) There shall be a Head of each Department, who shall be responsible to the concerned Deans for resident instruction; to the Director of Research for research work; and to the Director of Extension Education for extension education. (3) The Head of the Department shall be selected by the Vice-Chancellor and appointed by him with the approval of the Board, in the manner as may be prescribed.
