(1) There shall be a Director of Extension Education who shall be a whole time officer technically trained in Veterinary, animal sciences, fishery sciences or allied sciences and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board. (2) The Director of Extension Education shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor and shall prepare programmes for assisting farmers and housewives in applying results of scientific investigations for the solution of their problems.
