(1) The Government shall, by notification, appoint an officer of the Government, not below the rank of Principal Secretary, as Chief Executive Officer. (2) The Chief Executive Officer shall be paid out of the fund of the Pradhikaran, such monthly salary and allowances with such other facilities, as may be fixed by the Government. (3) Whenever the Chief Executive Officer is on leave or is unable to discharge his duties, the Government may appoint another officer in his place to exercise the powers of the Chief Executive Officer until his return.
