Every member of the State Council, the State Authority for Clinical Establishment and the District Authority for Clinical Establishment, shall be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860), while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act.
