(1) Subject to the provisions of this section, any person aggrieved Appeals. byan order made under this Act may, within a period of thirty days from the date of such order, exclusive of the time requisite for obtaining a copy thereof, prefer an appeal- - (i) to the court of session against the order passed by the children's court ; and (ii) to the district magistrate against the order passed by the Board : Provided that the appellate authority may entertain the appeal after the expiry of the said period of thirty days if it is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal in time. (2) No appeal shall lie from— to any order of acquittal made by the children's court in respect of a child alleged to have committed an offence ; or (b any order made by a Board in respect of a finding that a person is not a neglected child. (3) No second appeal shall lie from any order passed in appeal under this section.
