Inspection and maintenance of pile-driving equipment:-The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that— (a) pile-driving equipment is not taken into use until it has been inspected by a responsible person and found to be safe for such use; (b) pile-driving equipment in use is inspected by a responsible person for such inspection at suitable intervals to ensure safety to the building workers working on such equipment; (c) all pile lines and pulley blocks are inspected by a responsible person before the beginning of each shift of pilling operations.
