Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Vice- Chancellor may, with the prior approval of the Board and subject to availability of the funds, discharge all or any of the functions of the University for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of this Act and the regulations and for the purpose, may exercise any power or perform any duty which by or under this Act and regulations is to be exercised or performed by any authority of the University until such authority comes in to existence in accordance with the provisions of this Act and the regulations. 50.' No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against and no damage shall be claimed from the University, the Vice- Chancellor, the Chaimian, the Directors, the authorities or officers or employees of the University or any other person in respect of any thing which is done in good faith or purporting to be done in pursuance of provisions of this Act or any regulations made there under.
